So much has been going on for Primp Doggy lately. It is exciting, but at the same time stressful. The fun part for me in running this business is creating new styles, so I try to keep my focus on that. The red plaid dress shown to the right was designed and created for a lowland sheep dog who lives in Japan. Her owner is the CEO of an e-zine called She Unlimited and they are going to do a review of Primp Doggy fashion apparel just as soon as they receive their package.
The blue taffeta dress with the flocked velvet details was created as a holiday design to be featured in an upcoming fashion show on a Seattle news station King5 scheduled for Wednesday December 5th. The segment will run live (yikes) sometime between 8:30 and 9:00 am.
The faux, black leather coat was designed, well, just for fun and because I thought my Boston Terrier, Pez, who is the muse and inspiration behind Primp Doggy would look cute in it. He does. One little boy who saw Pez wearing it out and about as we were heading for our favorite downtown doggy boutique Scraps exclaimed, "Look dad, he looks like Elvis!"
And speaking of Scraps, Primp Doggy will be having our first ever trunk show at Scraps on Saturday December 1st from 1:00-4:00pm. Their will be hot cider and cookies, but best of all, canine fasionistas will be able to try on high-quality, limited edition creations by Primp Doggy.
On Sunday, December 2nd Primp Doggy will be participating in the Ladies Who Launch Holiday Showcase presented by Crave. The event will take place at Shilshole Bay from 12:00-4:00 pm and will give women a chance to get some holiday shopping done while sipping cocktails and visiting with girlfriends. I'm excited because one of my friends and former incubator buddies, Wendy of Paper Locket is also participating.
There is a lot more coming up so keep tuned in.
